The History Channel is Awesome
Soooooo.... they are running the history of the joke right now and it is some good stuff. Its basically just an excuse for the History Channel to run a bunch of comedians telling jokes and its glorious. I wish there were clips of it I could post , but I can find no such snip-its, so you'll have to imagine the greatness or hunt it down eventually. I haven't seen my obsession on the screen yet , Mr. Zach Galifianakis. I hope he magically appears with his beard. I would nest in his beard and live off the small drips of beer that would fall into it, because that's the only thing I've ever seen him consume.
In other unrelated issues, I watched the Spirit Awards tonight and Juno basically won all the biggies, except Best Director. I went to the London premiere of Juno in October. I like Juno , but I don't think its as "mind-blowing" and amazing as everyone keeps claiming it to be. I like all the actors. Diablo Cody seemed cool at the premiere and I enjoyed her writing. I think Jason Reitman is talented as a director. Something about the film didn't strike me that hard though. I have nothing bad to say about it . It just seems like anyone could have written that screenplay and most critics are treating it like it was some divine intervention that brought all the elements together to create it.
enough of random ranting,
